That does not look like a 31,000 sq ft home. Especially in the listing information. It looks more like a 9,000 sq ft home.

Also, the Jonas Brothers, in my opinion, would be wasting half a million dollars to rent that house. Even with the money they must be making, thats a huge hunk of change to spend for a rental house.

To the previous poster obviously you are mad. The listing information clearly states the house is 31,000 sq ft on 3 levels. My house is 9,000 square feet on 3 levels and I would like you to please tell me where I can put a massive movie theater, bowling alley and basketball court in it? My builder would like to know also. I mean for god's sake the listing states the master suite is 2,800 square feet alone and the lower level is 10,000 square feet. What part of that did you not understand?

  3. Kenny Says:

exactly right. lol. also why would the square feet listed be wrong by 22,000 square feet! The listing is on the builder's website. I think the builder would know how much square footage there is.

Something is seriously wrong with the numbers/pics for this listing.

The floorplan doesn't even come close to allowing 30,000 feet. Also, the chimneys don't line up in location or number when you compare the floorplan and the exterior pics.

This house does look 10,000 feet max. I've seen builders mix up details from different projects before; I think that's what we're seeing here.

  5. Kenny Says:

where did you find the floorplans?

    Kenny,
click on the link you gave for the "listing."

Scroll all the way to the right at the photo gallery.

Thanks for adding the aerial view pic.

So Anon 10:18, what you are saying is the homeowner, who I assume is also the builder, as he is a builder, does not know the square footage of his own home???
As I stated before my home is about the size that you claim this home is and I will be damned if I did not walk around my house trying to figure out where I was going to add my new indoor basketball court, bowling alley and rock wall climbing room. I was truly excited.

    Yep,
It looks like a mess up. This link http://www.farrellbuilding.com/html/homes_for_sale.html

shows listing for two houses; one for $60 million and one for $13 million. The data between the two homes got mixed up.

  9. Kenny Says:

those are not the floorplans and drawings to this home. thats what is confusing you. Those are for 34 Bay Lane.

I just said "does not look", and "it looks". neither were about what its true size is. If just the arial shot were shown (which it originally was not) and it had been one of the "guess the square footage things", i don't think anyone would have guessed it to be 31,000. So I was just saying it didn't look that big, and that it was a surprise. It had nothing to do with mistrust of the listing.

    oh okay I understand.
