These are pictures of Derek Jeter’s mega-mansion that is under construction on Davis Islands in Tampa, FL. The house measures a whopping 30,875 square feet and will boast seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, two three-car garages, an entertainment room, a billiard room and a memorabilia room. Once completed, Jeter’s house will be the largest home in Tampa. He plans on using it during spring training.

I'm wondering what that small roof on the lawn of the house next door (last picture) is.

    Anyone have an idea?

  2. Anonymous Says:

    i was wondering the same!

Oh come on it is obvious.
They clearly have Guard Alligators and that is their house. lol

But honestly, WTF is that structure?
    Kenny, we have to know.

If you look at the other pics, you can see a square shaped landing on a tower of that same house. I think the structure in question was build off site and will be lifted up by crane to be attached to the tower.

    I thinks Pat is right

Hey, how do you guys like my new website? Do you digg it? lol

  6. Anonymous Says:

I think Pat is right, there appears to be green grass under the thing. The grass would be long gone if it wasn't recently placed.

Well now that we have a hypothesis for the small roof…not inplausible.

I'll add that Jetter's house is increcibl ugly at this point (to put it nicely)…I'd much rather have that house with the prefab roof sitting on the lawn;-)

practically no lot. dunno why people with all that $$$ to spend on a dream home would prefer to be sardined in with their neighbors like that.

We have a conclusion! Looking at Google Maps StreetView (The home is located on Bahama Circle), that roof does in fact go on top of the left tower of that house.

Now with Jeter's house. I can't tell what style it will be. Mediterranean, French, Contemporary, etc…Any idea's?
