Country Superstar Alan Jackson’s Supersized Tennessee Estate

Location: 1301 Moran Road, Franklin, TN

Price: $38,000,000

Alan Jackson, the country mega-star who has sold over 50 million records, has finally put his massive abode on the market for a spine tingling $38,000,000. That is quite an impressive price to be asking right off the bat. There is another home on the market in Franklin that is $9 million less and is around the same size. The home was built in 1997 and took 23 months to complete. The home spans a total of 26,500 square feet counting the porches and contains 6 bedrooms and 7 full and 2 half bathrooms. The estate is situated on 140 acres of prime property and the Jacksons’ have made it into a home truly worth living in. Despite its enormous sized rooms, the home has a cozy and warm feel to it. There are two spiral staircases located at either end of the foyer. The first floor contains a formal dining room, a formal living room, a maple-floored home office, a large family room complete with 22 ft. ceilings, a spacious gourmet kitchen with adjoining breakfast room, and a glass enclosed porch. The 2nd floor contains 4 bedroom suites, an exercise room, and nanny quarters. There is also a third floor that contains a game room, a home theater, and a custom pub. The sprawling grounds include 3 ponds, a 10-acre lake, a boat house, a swimming pool, a barn with apartment, and an enclosed tennis court and basketball court. The best part of the house is of course the massive 20-car garage.

Yes Nascar and country music fans, these guys you pay for are just like you, not.
These guys do a great job dressing down and driving Ford pickup trucks and convincing you they are just like you.
This is the reality, they take your money and buy $38 million homes and drive Aston Martins and Bentleys.
    So long suckers.

Strange house. The 1st floor foyer/entry hall looks like it belongs in a hotel. Yet the living room is so incredibly narrow, the table looks like it can barely fit in there. What's the room size, 10X30?

$38 million is way overpriced too. Lucky if he gets $20 million.

I don't see the point of the first comment other than to be a dick, does he think NASCAR and country fans are retarded or something?

not sure about the purpose of the 1st post either. the guy makes music, people buy it on their own free will, he gets rich, he makes a nice house. people do it everyday.
